Located in the King's Canyon National Park, Grant Grove is probably best known as the home of the General Grant Tree. This tree is the third largest tree in the world, as well as the Nation's Christmas Tree. Grant Grove also contains camping areas, lakes and hiking trails. It is closed to vehicles in the winter from November to May.

Crystal Caves
The caves are located in Sequoia National Park and were discovered in 1918. To view the caves visitors must be part of a guided tour. Tour tickets can be purchased at Foothills or Lodgepole visitor centers. The caves are closed between September and mid-May.

Yosemite National Park preserves a portion of the Sierra Nevada that stretches along California's eastern flank. The park ranges from 2,000 feet above sea level to more than 13,000 feet.
