    Mammoth Mountain

    While offering year round recreational opportunities, Mammoth Mountain features plenty of snow for winter sports. The mountian's summit towers over the area, standing at 11,053 feet. With 3,500 skiable acres, Mammoth Mountain has 3 terrain parks, as well as numerous lifts and runs for both amateur and experienced skiiers. The mountain is located within a short drive from Yosemite, Las Vegas and various locations in Southern California.

    Badger Pass
    The ski resort opened in 1935 and is located at 8,000 feet above sea level. There are nine runs with five chair lifts. The resort is open between mid-December through to early April. Fifty-percent of the ski hill is designated for intermediate skiers. Ski School classes are available for skiers of all levels.

    June Mountain

    June Mountain has a variety of terrain for every level of skier as well as eight lifts, and a snowboard terrain park and halfpipe. Ski and snowboarding lessons. Child care is available for newborns to six years of age. Cross country trails.

    Kirkwood Mountain Resort

    Located 35 miles south of Lake Tahoe, Kirkwood has the highest base elevation of any California ski resort and as such receives an average snowfall of 500 inches. Skiers and riders can choose from over 65 trails, terrain parks and a super pipe, as well as lodging right on the hill. Daycare is available for ages 2 - 6.
